Heir to an enterprising and visionary mother, Jean-Jacques is in business with his children Jorris, Gwendoline and Vickie, as well as his wife and daughter-in-law. They own a 55-hectare (136 acres) property of which two-thirds is in Pouilly. As for the grandmother, the grandfather went to get her by bicycle on the other side of the Loire. Unprecedented! Jorris, a reserved guy, describes himself as a mere link in a “chain serving to transmit land.” Gwendoline and Vickie, mothers both, work behind the scenes to manage the bottling, the packaging and marketing of the product. There is a division of labor. Here, they work as a family, and strategy is decided upon together. This is how they decided to expand the vineyard.
