Domaine Figeat André et Edmond

It was quite literally that André fell into the tiau when he was two years old! Saved from drowning in this hollowed out floor level vat by his father, baptized with Pouilly-Fumé, and thus irrevocably dedicated to wine! They still hold onto some bottles of the 1964 vintage as keepsakes … The Le Nozet castle grounds were then his playground. He plays well with others, as at the wine syndicate, or just the other day at the Pouilly municipal council. He also plays alone, target shooting, a sport demanding skill and concentration. Hunting is his second outlet – a passion. His successor is already in place. Anne-Sophie, his daughter, now an enologist, left pharmacy to come back to the vineyard …
