Hubert Brochard

Although Daniel Brochard is originally from Sancerre, he is a champion of Pouilly-Fumé. As far as he was concerned, the domaine would have been off-balance if this appellation had not been represented in his property. He established himself here in 1990 and his daughters Caroline and Anne-Sophie took the same path. Three carefully vinified wines allow the exploration of different features of this appellation. Aimée, Daniel’s grandmother and his daughters’ great-grandmother, left her mark on the domaine; she was “the woman winemaker of the two world wars”, cofounder of the new wave with her husband Hubert Brochard, the former laborer who became the boss thanks to her.
