For Jérôme, there is no other way than to create with one’s own hands, and from scratch, what one really wants. For Pascale, what is essential is to live a meaningful life, as a family. The two of them therefore built everything from nothing: the domaine, the cellar, the offices, the tasting room. And even if it’s not easy to work together every day, the result is rewarding. Enthusiasm meets ambition and happiness erases hindrances. Pascale used to be a beautician. Jérôme was a wine merchant. Today they are both winemakers. They also acquired some grain fields, to diversify … And they have two daughters. They make everything, even a dynasty of women winemakers!
Pour Jérôme, il n’y a pas d’autre moyen que de créer de ses mains et de toutes pièces ce que l’on veut vraiment. Pour Pascale, l’essentiel est de réaliser sa vie, en famille. Ils ont donc tout construit, tous les deux, à partir de zéro : le domaine, la cave, les bureaux, le caveau. Et même si ce n’est pas facile de travailler tous les jours ensemble, le résultat en vaut la peine. L’enthousiasme rejoint l’ambition et le bonheur efface les contraintes. Pascale était esthéticienne. Jérôme, caviste. Ils sont aujourd’hui tous les deux vignerons. Ils ont aussi acquis des champs de céréales, pour se diversifier... Et ils ont deux filles. Tout créer, même une dynastie de viticultrices !

She is the Grande Baillive of the Confrérie des Baillis de Pouilly-sur-Loire. This Brotherhood of Baillifs of Pouilly-sur-Loire brings together devotees and producers of Pouilly-Fumé and Pouilly-sur-Loire wines. What is striking is her open-mindedness, desire for harmony, and her sharing spirit. This accomplished winemaker was trained by her father, Serge, the best-respected vintner of Saint Andelain. She and her sister Florence are the “Daughters” of the Dagueneau domaine. Her smile is ever-present in the winery, and her cheerfulness touches people’s hearts.
