Domaine Marchand et fils

Clément Marchand is a thoughtful guy, so attached to his village and the Loire that he became a scholar, local historian and champion of Les Loges … of its terroir and the old-time methods used to grow vines and produce its wine. As a Burgundian – he studied in eastern Burgundy – he sings the praises of the winemaker’s mastery of the cask, the cooper, and the barrel itself. He believes that the vines speak their language to the winemaker.
